Queens University is conveniently situated in the heart of Charlotte. Campers will enjoy superb athletic facilities for training.
Queens University of Charlotte Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach Brett Karpman will direct this adidas Tennis Camp at his alma mater. He was an integral part of Queens’ varsity tennis program from 2002 – 2004 as a member of the team. While playing for the Royals he was named a National Presidential Scholar Athlete.
Brett served as the assistant coach at Queens for two seasons in 2004 and 2005. In 2006, he was the assistant coach at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) and helped lead UNCW to their first win over a nationally-ranked team since the program’s inception and their best record in the university’s history. His duties at UNCW included recruiting players from around the nation and assisting in the daily training of the team. Brett has also been a strength and conditioning consultant for top junior players.
You may recognize Coach Karpman as the director of last year’s adidas Tennis Camp at UNCW. He brings a wealth of knowledge and directorial experience with him to the Queens adidas Tennis Camp.
