In 2003 he earned Freedom Conference Women's Coach of the Year Honors. In 2005, his final year at Drew, Ira earned the last of his five consecutive Freedom Conference Men's Coach of the Year Honors. 2006 saw Ira return triumphantly to Fairleigh Dickinson helping the men's team to a Northeast Conference #1 postseason seed and winning another Conference Coach of the Year Award, his 5th overall in the NEC. All together between Drew and Fairleigh Dickinson, Coach Miller has collected 12 Conference Coach of the Year Awards and 13 conference team championships. In 2007, FDU's men's team played eventual NCAA Champion Georgia in the first round of the NCAA's. He was given one of the highest honors for his efforts at Fairleigh Dickinson, being inducted into the University's Hall of Fame in 2004.
Active outside of the college scene as well, Ira coached the USA's 1999 Pan American Maccabi Junior Team in Mexico City and in the summer of 2006 coached the Boys and Girls 16's Eastern Zonal team to the gold medal in St. Louis. He was also honored by the USTA/ITA, receiving their Eastern Section Award for promoting recreational tennis on campus in 2006.
Coach Miller graduated Cum Laude from Clark University where he was a four-year letterman. He has taught at both Hofstra and Fairleigh Dickinson and is an accomplished author, being published in many of the leading tennis magazines.
Ira will have an all-star staff consisting of college coaches and assistant coaches.
Evening activities at camp will include:

- Night tennis party
- Rock wall climbing
Campers will train on Ramapo's 12 varsity tennis courts.
