Just 40 miles from Wichita and under a three hour drive from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Southwestern College is an ideal location for this adidas Tennis Camp.

Army Assistant Men's Coach Randy Rowley will Co-Direct this Kansas tennis camp with Southwestern College Head Men’s and Women’s Coach Randy Smith.

Rowley enters his first season as the Assistant Men's Coach of the Army tennis program after seven years at the helm of the University of Southern Mississippi women's team. His team achieved USM's first national team ranking, recorded the most wins in a single season and finished third in the Conference USA tennis championships. In addition, Rowley has spent time traveling and coaching on the ITF and WTA tour, spending two months helping to conduct a preseason training camp and coaching at the Australian Open, the Australian Women's Hardcourts, the Pacific Life Open and the U.S. Open. 

Coach Smith is a graduate and former tennis player at Southwestern College. Following his graduation, he became the head coach for the Friends University tennis team, operated a tennis program for 300-500 juniors each summer, and received the United States Tennis Association facility of the year award in 1989 while operating the Ralph Wulz Riverside Tennis Center in Wichita. In addition to his duties as Southwestern Head Coach, Randy will continue to teach the sixth grade at Winfield Elementary School.

With a talented staff in place, we look forward to another exciting adidas Tennis Camp this summer! Coach Rowley and Smith look to continue to build upon the success they had in 2009 in making this camp one of the best summer tennis camps in Kansas.

Evening activites at camp will include:

• Movie night
• Pizza night
• Scavenger hunt and capture the flag
• Talent show

Campers will have access to eleven tennis courts for training purposes and a swimming pool to cool off.
