If you put God in a place in your life where He should be, he will place you in the world where you need to be.

What advice would you give a smart, driven 14 year old athlete about to enter high school and what advice should they ignore on the other hand?

Try to play a second sport just for fun and athletic development. Ignore that your tournament results in the 9th grade effects how you get recruited for college.

In the last 5 years, do you have a specific season, match, or tournament that changed your life? What advice or realizations do you have for people in the coaching field who are trying to achieve their team’s potential?

When we did not get selected for the 2018 NCAA Tennis Championships. Just because your team was successful the year before (2017) and you have almost all your players back, that does not guarantee success.

Is there a moment from your youth that set you up for career in coaching?

When my high school coach was out for a month and I had to coach the boys and girls teams when I was in the 10th grade.
