Overview
Ferris High School features beautiful athletic facilities perfect for Tennis and more. We’re excited to host the adidas Tennis Camps at Ferris High School. Join us and have fun while improving your tennis skills! Camp is open to all ages and ability levels.
Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!
About Our Coaches
Coach Bryce Borland is the Boys Varsity Tennis Coach at Mead High School and has over 10 years of tennis coaching experience in Oregon and Washington. He was previously an Assistant Tennis Coach at Whitworth University.
At Mead, Coach Borland led the Boys to a 3rd Place finish in the Greater Spokane League (GSL) in his first season. Since then, they have finished first in the GSL with undefeated seasons (9-0) in 2022 and 2023. Coach Borland was recognized as Coach of the Year in both 2022 and 2023, and received WIAA Team of the Year and WIAA Coach of the Year nominations. Borland possesses an overall record of 41-4 (91% win percentage) as a Head Tennis Coach.
Borland’s coaching motto is For the Love of Tennis and has developed a culture within his program built around leadership, good habits, effort, teamwork, and community. Borland, who played his collegiate tennis at Linfield University, continues to compete in USTA Leagues and UTR events in the area.
Coach Borland is excited to share his expertise and passion for the game at the adidas Tennis Camps.
Camp Details
Day Campers: Check in at 8:45AM-9AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 4PM each day. (Bring a bagged lunch.)
Half Day Campers (*option for 5-8 year olds): Check in at 8:45AM-9AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 4PM each day.
Make sure campers bring all necessary tennis equipment (tennis racket, shoes, etc.), refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and snack.
*Lunch is not included.
