UNCW Head Men's Tennis Coach Adam Carey will direct this camp. Coach Carey enters his first season coaching the Seahawks program. Prior to beginning his tenure, he was an assistant coach at UNLV and The Citadel, and before that he was a standout at the University of Tennessee. Adam's accolades as a player include, leading his team to 3 NCAA Division I Final Four appearances, including one trip to the NCAA finals and two SEC Titles. Coach Carey ranks 6th all time at UT with 113 singles victories and 3rd in doubles wins with 84. Adam also was twice named team Most Valuable Player and the SEC tournament MVP.

As an assistant at UNLV Adam helped lead the Rebels to a national ranking in each of his two seasons, including a victory over 10th ranked Oklahoma State and while at Citadel he was an integral part in leading the team to their best conference finish in 40 years.

Coach Carey earned world rankings in both singles and doubles while playing on the professional tour for three years following graduation and has also spent time as an instructor at the Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville and the Las Vegas Hilton.

Campers will train at the UNCW varsity tennis complex.
