adidas Tennis Clinics is proud to announce we will be hosting a 4-day tennis clinic in Newton, Massachusetts this summer. This clinic is open to ages 8-17 of all ability levels. Come train with us this summer to take your game to the next level.
Campers will be grouped based on age and ability and drills will be designed based on their needs.
Every camper will receive a camp t-shirt plus a chance to win daily and camp prizes. All full day-campers (Open to Ages 10 - 17) will come together for lunch. Half-day campers (Open to ages 8 – 10) will be dismissed at noon from the courts.
About Our Coaches
Founder of AlligatorShot Concept in Sports, Paco brings over 30 years of professional tennis experience as a player, coach, director and innovator.
Served as the Tennis Director of CD Jarama Sport Academy in Madrid, Spain, where he trained over 500 athletes including several world-ranked junior players.
In Cd Jarama, he honed his Spaniard instructional system: one that emphasizes the careful integration of technical, tactical and mental skills while continuously improving balance, speed and footwork. He is now focused on bringing this system to US-based players.
He has extended the AlligatorShot approach to other sport-specific training program and is currently working with Real Madrid Foundation soccer Clinics.
As a player, After leaving the high competition in the Tennis of the hand of Luis Bruguera (wild card ATP with 17 years), it had been: Champion of Venezuela year 1976, Champions of Spain Benjamines (Club Spanish of Tennis), Nº 1 regional of tennis of Valencia and national top-ten in categories Benjamín (U10), Alevín (U12) and Cadete (U16), Group 10 with 14 years.
As a teacher, Paco spent 14 years as he passed the mastery test carried out in club whichwas only passed by 3 people. Has taught private and group lessons since 1985, in schools such as La Herrería Club de Golf, and Club de Campo de Valdemorillo. He was the hitting partner for professional players (1995) and is a USPTA international Coach title.
Full Day: Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm
Half Day: Monday-Thursday 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm
*Lunch is NOT included. Please bring a bagged lunch.
TYPICAL DAILY SCHEDULE
9:00-9:30 Off-court warm up and stretching
9:30-10:30 Small-group training
10:45-12:00 Partner-based training and 1-on-1 sessions
12:00-1:00 Lunch and pick-up for half-day campers
1:00-1:30 Tactics and Cooperative off-court games
1:30-2:30 Match play and competitive games
2:30-3:00 Tennis skills competition
3:00 End of full-day session
It was great for my daughter to play tennis all summer on such great facilities on the college campus. My daughter has said how much she can see herself on that campus.
